Florida-focused, physician-led telehealth

Straightforward Florida telehealth, two ways to connect

MDL Health PLLC offers physician-led telehealth visits for patients in Florida, including medical weight management, men's hormone health, erectile dysfunction care, minor urgent care, and routine labs. Choose a live Video Visit for conditions that need a spoken discussion, or a Text Visit for a short list of qualifying acute problems. Treatment may include a prescription when clinically indicated — prescriptions and outcomes are never guaranteed.

Florida patients only: The clinician is licensed in Florida only, and care is available only to patients located in Florida. Services are not available in other states.

Text visits are limited to the conditions listed below. Everything else that needs a live conversation — including asthma — uses a Video Visit.

Choose your visit type

Pick the path that matches your concern. Both options open the secure patient portal booking page in a new tab so you can request a time.

Primary

Video Visit

A live spoken telehealth visit through the patient portal. Use this for conditions that need face-to-face discussion — including asthma and anything not listed for Text Visits.

  • Live video with a clinician
  • Best for complex or spoken discussion
  • Includes asthma and unlisted concerns

  • Urinary tract infection
  • Gout
  • Ear infection

Text visit vs video visit

Use this guide to choose the right path. When in doubt, book a Video Visit.

Qualifies for Text Visit

Acute conditions only — these four:

  • Upper respiratory tract infection
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Gout
  • Ear infection

Requires Video Visit

Anything that needs a live spoken discussion, including:

  • Asthma
  • Concerns not listed for Text Visits
  • Symptoms that need face-to-face conversation
  • Follow-up that benefits from live discussion

Clinical decisions — including whether treatment may include a prescription — are made after evaluation. Nothing on this site guarantees a prescription or a particular outcome.

Simple flow: book, intake, payment

A clear path from choosing a visit type to completing your appointment. There is no separate form backend on this site — booking and clinical intake continue through the tools below.

  1. 1. Choose visit type Select Video Visit or Text Visit based on your condition (see the lists above).
  2. 2. Book a time Use the Book button for that visit type. It opens the secure patient portal in a new tab so you can request an available slot.
  3. 3. Complete brief intake The patient portal collects your contact and scheduling details. Clinical intake continues after booking with the practice — this page does not host a separate intake form.
  4. 4. Payment Billing is handled through the secure patient portal (SimplePractice) when charges apply. Fees are explained by the practice for your visit; there is no separate checkout form on this page.

FAQ

What is the difference between Video and Text visits?

Video Visits are live spoken telehealth appointments and are the default for most concerns, including asthma. Text Visits are limited to upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, gout, and ear infection.

Will I get a prescription?

Not necessarily. Treatment may include a prescription when clinically indicated after evaluation. Prescriptions and outcomes are never guaranteed in advance.

I have asthma — which visit should I book?

Asthma needs a live spoken visit. Please book a Video Visit.

How do I schedule?

Choose Video or Text above, then use the matching Book button. Each opens the secure patient portal so you can request an appointment.

How does billing work?

When a visit has a charge, payment is collected through the patient portal. The practice will explain fees that apply to your care. This site does not host a payment form.

Do you handle urgent care or emergencies?

We treat minor, non-emergency urgent concerns by telehealth for Florida patients. We are not an emergency service. For emergencies such as chest pain, trouble breathing, or severe symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
